Eucharist - A Taste of God

One of the greatest gifts that we have as Catholics in the Catholic Church is a sense of tradition - an experience of continuity and community. This experience of continuity and community is best expressed in the celebration of the Eucharist. The Eucharist keeps alive within us as persons and among us as communities, the SACRED reality of our God who hungers for us sinners, in the broken body of His son Jesus. “Among the many activities of a parish, none is vital or as community-forming as the Sunday celebration of the Lord's Day and His Eucharist. (Pope John Paul II).

January	Hunger	God has hungered for his people. His people has hungered for God. Do you have the desire and yearning for the Eucharist?
February	The Quiet Presence Of God	God speaks only in silence. Are you here in the present or are you in the past or in the future right now?
March	Called To The Gathering: The Challenge	The Eucharist is the community and the Church. Are you part of this community? Are you involved in the activities of this community and the Church? How are you serving the Church and its various Ministries?
April	Called To The Gathering: The Gift	Do you see yourself as a gift to the BEC and the Church?
May	A Meal For Sinners	Only sinners will appreciate the Eucharist
June	The Voice Of God	In the first & second reading and the Gospel. Did you hear it?
July	Broken, Poured For Love	Out of love, Christ came from divinity to humanity.
August	I Am Here For You	The Gift of God is present in the Eucharist.
September	Mission	Comes from the word "Apostles" - be sent and make disciples of the world. How have you evangelised the Word of God today?
October	To Say "AMEN"	When you say 'AMEN' when receiving the Eucharist, its actually 2 AMENs! The first is "Truly, I believe this is the body of Christ" and the second is "Truly, I am part of this community and Church"
November	Eucharist And The Apostles	The Apostles (martyrs) would die for the Eucharist.
December	Mary: Woman Of The Eucharist	The moment Mary said: "Thy will be done", she became the tabernacle. How have you carried your cross?
