About Us
 |
Hope
of God Church (Vancouver) is an international church
that warmly welcomes people of all nations to join us in a
time of worship. In our meetings we desire to experience God's
presence, power and love. Our hallmarks of ministry are to
attain Height in Worship, Depth in Word and Breadth
in Fellowship. We are a member of the Hope of God
International. |
Our
Pastor William
Ao grew up in Lao and graduated from the Pacific Bible College
in Surrey, BC. He is a devoted father, business man and pastor.
In 1991, Pastor William and his wife, Lan, responded to God's
calling to start Hope of God Church (Vancouver). They have
two children, Andrew and Victoria. Pastor William and Lan's
heartbeat is to plant a seed church in each province of Canada.
They are delighted to see recently started caregroup in Toronto,
Ontario. Pastor William is well-known for his pastoral character
and swimming pool jokes. |

Hope
of God International is
a Christian movement with a vision. It started in 1981 with a handful
of committed Christians. Today, it has over 1000 centres in 6 continents
including Asia, Australia, Africa, Europe, South America, and North
America.
Our
Vision is
to fulfill Jesus' Great Commission in our lifetime by building strong
& biblical people to plant strong & biblical churches in
Greater Vancouver, Canada & all over the world. (Matthew 28:19)
Our
Goals are
to plant a seed church in the capital or a major city of each of
the 238 nations in the world by 2015 and to use the seed church
as a base for multiplying Biblical churches in the nations and in
the world until Jesus' 2nd coming. (Habakkuk 2:14, Acts 1:8)
