In my mother's arms
Where I find the perfect peace
All my fears were gone
My tears began to cease.

In my mother's arms
The joys of love would ring
All I could ever hear
Was the power when she would sing.

In my mother's arms
No problems could ever stay
For one hug from her
And they all went away.

In my mother's arms
My friends could always be
Because my mother's arms
Were not just for me.

But when those tears did come
That she could not wipe away
On her knees she did go
And Satan could not stay.

So if you are ever lonely
And afraid of harm
You can always find the perfect peace
In my mother's arms.
