Bible Study

The Green's Harbour Pastoral Charge has a weekly joint  Bible Study group which meets every Wednesday morning in the church basement of Faith United (Green's Harbour).  We have been meeting regularly for the past three years and have covered a broad range of topics and scripture passages. We have shared in units on Old Testament writings, examined Gospel parallels, studied the Creation narratives, looked at women in the Bible, did a comparison of the "laws" contained in Old and New Testament writings and Jesus' teachings on those laws. We also shared in a study of The Revelation of John and the Book of Daniel.

Our Bible Study group began as a small group, comprised of members of the pastoral charge. Since that time, we have grown in number, averaging 12 in attendance, and have been blessed with the presence of members of other denominations, namely the Salvation Army and Anglican Church.  We find our time together to be a prayerful and thoughtful experience and we treasure the fellowship that God richly blesses us with each week.  On occasion, we have have shared in "dinner studies", enjoying our study and following it up with pot luck.

We would extend an invitation to any and all, who would be interested in sharing with us, to come along.  You can find us, every Wednesday morning in the church basement at Green's Harbour beginning at 10:00 am.
