8 am	Holy Communion from the Book of Common Prayer.
10 am	THE PARISH EUCHARIST.
6.30 pm	Evensong from the Book of Common Prayer; this becomes Choral Evensong on the second Sunday of the month.

There are approximately three services every weekday, including a daily Eucharist. Holy Communion with anointing and laying on of hands is available and our clergy are always willing to visit sick or housebound people in their homes. A priest is available by appointment for the sacrament of Reconciliation (otherwise known as confession). The clergy expect to be on call at all hours every day in an emergency. Wherever possible the Vicar hopes to have Saturday as a day off with his family.

St Andrew's Headington was greatly influenced in the Nineteenth Century by the Tractarian Movement (the Oxford Movement) which endeavoured to re-call the Church of England to its place in the universal ("Catholic") Church of the last twenty or so centuries. The teaching and doctrine passed on from the Lord through the Apostles gives the Christian Church at least four "bearings" by which to go forward under the Holy Spirit. These are the Sacraments of the Church (especially Holy Communion and Baptism), the ancient Creeds shared by the various parts of the Universal Church, the ancient three-fold Ministry ("male" Bishop and Priests and Deacons) and of course the Holy Scriptures. Thus, the living tradition of the Christian Church continues in the parish of St Andrew's Headington to this day.
