Community Outreach

We routinely collect donations for the Martinsburg Rescue Mission. Other special programs to provide donations to Hedgesville Loaves and Fishes hosted by the Hedgesville United Methodist Church.

Provide in-home communion to members who are unable to leave their home.

Assist local families in crisis situations.

We support the 4-cents-a-meal program monthly to provide food to the needy.

We work with other local church members and community volunteers to provide regular maintenance of the community cemetery surrounding this historic church.

Co-Sponsor with the Tomahawk Ruritan Club - A Day of Caring. Donations of clothing and food are provided to those in need in the community.

Provide worship services to the residents at Ambrose Towers in Martinsburg on a bi-monthly basis.

Each Labor Day weekend for the past 8 years we have had a "Day of Celebration" Proceeds were going to the Tomahawk Cemetery restoration and documentation. This year proceeds will go to the Tomahawk Cemetery maintenance fund. Unsold items are usually donated to Goodwill of Martinsburg, or some other local charity. Thank you to all who support this event!

Vacation Bible School for the past several years has been a blessing and a joyful experience for both the children and adults who attended and participated! Offering of food items donated to Loaves and Fishes in Hedgesville.

Our fellowship lunch is every third Sunday at 12:30. The lunches are free and open to the public. You are welcome to bring a covered food item or something for the Martinsburg Rescue Mission. Come join us and enjoy the good food and company with your neighbors in the community! You will find friends here!
